RSLive stickers
The pig holding a sign is the mascot of RSLive. A long-standing visual idea grew into sticker packs about Serbia and Petar Otišić: everyday situations, documents, transport, food, holidays and Serbian expressions.

Why there is a pig in the logo
Заголовок раздела «Why there is a pig in the logo»The RSLive mascot is called Petar Otišić. His ancestor is Pig Peter (Поросёнок Пётр), the character from books by Lyudmila Petrushevskaya illustrated by Alexander Reichstein. Three books about his adventures were published in 2002. Reichstein had moved to Finland in 1990, and the story of a travelling pig later acquired a second life in Russian internet culture as an image of leaving, migration and self-irony.

From a children’s book to an emigration meme
Заголовок раздела «From a children’s book to an emigration meme»In the mid-2000s Pig Peter spread through Russian internet forums. Parody books, poems, a song and later an animated adaptation followed. The pig travelling on a tractor became particularly recognisable and was used by emigrant communities and in jokes about the Russian expression roughly meaning “time to get out”.
That is why the character works on two levels: it is a funny children’s-book pig, but for part of the Russian-speaking internet it is also an ironic image of somebody deciding to leave a familiar environment and start elsewhere.

A new life in Serbia
Заголовок раздела «A new life in Serbia»RSLive imagined that Peter’s journey could have continued to Serbia and gave him a Serbian name: Petar Otišić. An early version kept the tractor from the well-known meme. After consultation with Serbian readers, the tractor was replaced by an aeroplane: a red tractor in Serbia has a strong association with the 1995 Operation Oluja and therefore carries a very different historical meaning from the Russian meme.
Petar consequently became a symbol not only of departure but of arrival and a new beginning. His visual descendants remain in the RSLive identity and have grown into a larger sticker collection.
For a fuller explanation of the character, see Pig Peter and the RSLive mascot.
What the collection contains
Заголовок раздела «What the collection contains»The stickers cover administrative and everyday topics: passports and residence documents, housing, work, public transport, travel, medicine, food, holidays and common situations in Serbia. Most stickers now have two formats: SVG as the high-quality master artwork and WebP as a lightweight preview used by the site’s interface.
The Telegram set is called «Инструкция по Сербии (rslive.ru)». The gallery below contains published stickers. Internal service illustrations are not included.
Each entry has two identifiers:
- a human-readable title, describing the scene or purpose of the illustration;
- a technical English name, used as the
ogStickervalue in article frontmatter.
For example, to use the passport illustration on an Open Graph card:
ogSticker: passportCopy the technical name exactly and omit the file extension.
The source files are available in the public content repository. SVG files are master sources, including the high-resolution source used to generate Open Graph images; compact WebP files are used for the header and sticker gallery. PNG copies are no longer maintained. The legacy pig-in-bushes sticker has only a WebP preview, so it can appear in the gallery but is not treated as a full OG master until a high-quality source is available.

Where to install the stickers
Заголовок раздела «Where to install the stickers»The Viber collection had to be split because of the platform’s limit on the number of stickers in one pack. Pig-head stickers with numbers identify the corresponding Viber part and are not part of the Open Graph catalogue above.
A separate Facebook sticker pack could not be added. Third-party applications can import Telegram stickers into WhatsApp, but RSLive does not currently maintain an official WhatsApp pack.
The first public announcement of the packs is preserved in a Facebook post.
How stickers are used on the site
Заголовок раздела «How stickers are used on the site»RSLive can select a thematic illustration for a wide Open Graph card from the ogSticker field in frontmatter. For example, passport can be used for document articles, javni-prevoz for public transport and building-a-house for housing.
If ogSticker is absent or no suitable SVG master exists for the requested slug, the generator uses a fallback image. Choose a technical name from the gallery above.
The same ogSticker also controls the small article-header mascot, but the browser receives the compact WebP rendition instead of the heavy SVG. This reduces transfer and offline-storage cost without lowering the quality of the large Open Graph render.
A full sticker is shown on the Open Graph card only when the title leaves enough room. With long titles the text takes the full width of the card. The square image used by services with square previews keeps only a small pig-head favicon in the corner so the illustration does not compete with the text.
Can the stickers be reused?
Заголовок раздела «Can the stickers be reused?»You can share the packs and use them in ordinary messaging. If you need source artwork for a publication, integration or another sticker pack, contact the project through the public repository and describe the platform and required format.
